Anyone else yearning for sunshine and green pastures???

Spring's a coming ...
The signs are all around us ...
Yesterday morning I geared up and stepped out of the house to start morning chores and I smelled it.
What does spring smell like you ask?
Well I'm not really sure how to explain it.  It was just a hint of an earthy smell dancing in the air, almost imperceptible but most definitely there.
Like the scent of earth awakening.
I can feel it and apparently so can everything around me.
As I go about my work around the farm it's as if everything is coming alive.
Throwing off the quiescence of winter and embracing the warmth and liveliness of spring.
It makes a body feel like singing and for some reason I've got the 12 Days of Christmas stuck in my head πŸ™„
so today you get my list of the 12 Days of Spring instead! πŸ˜†

Life Wisdom From the Farm

When you've got all your eggs in one basket & that basket goes flying - well - it's a great lesson about the power of centrifugal force and the limiting effects of gravity but it's a sad day for breakfast. 😣
