Haskap Sauce
With it's rich colour and tangy flavour this Haskap Sauce will become a new favourite at your holiday table!

Ingredients

  • (1 cup) Haskaps - Frozen
  • (1 cup) Bone Broth
  • (2 tsp) Fresh Thyme
  • (1 Tbsp) Apple Cider Vinegar
  • (1 Tbsp) Liquid Honey 500g
  • (1 tsp) Cinnamon
  • (1 Tbsp) *Optional - Orange Zest
  • (2 Tbsp) Butter

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan bring bone broth to a boil, reduce by about half
  2. Add haskap berries, thyme, apple cider vinegar, honey, cinnamon, and orange zest and simmer for about 10 minutes until thickened and berries are partially broken down.
  3. Right before ready to serve, stir in the butter until melted and sauce is smooth and silky
